Who We Are

What Is A PA?

A public adjuster is a professional claims handler who advocates for the policyholder in appraising and negotiating a claimant’s insurance claim.  Relying on your insurance company and their adjusters to determine what they should pay you for your property damage usually results in you receiving a less-than-fair settlement.

The Role Of A Public Adjuster

Your insurance company provides you with an adjuster at no charge. However, a public adjuster doesn’t have any affiliation with your insurance company. They can be hired independently by the policyholder to serve as your personal advocate to help you receive the full amount to which you are entitled. Due to their expertise, public adjusters may aid in increasing the settlement value of the loss, enabling the policyholder to receive maximum return on their claim, evaluating and negotiating insurance claims. Their position helps release the claimant from the litigation process so that he / she can concentrate on restoring their home or business.

Responsibilities Of A Public Adjuster
  • Evaluating your insurance policies to determine your coverage
  • Research and record damage to buildings and other expenses.
  • Evaluate your losses & damages.
  • Determine values for covered damages.
  • Preparation, documentation and support of the insurance claim.
  • Settlement negotiation.
